Connor McDavid has made a name for himself in the world of hockey. He is one of the most skilled players in the League and his outstanding performances are proof of that with fame comes lots of controversies as well.

In June 2022, after holding hands with a new mystery girl, Connor McDavid was alleged to have cheated on his girlfriend Lauren Kyle.

Everything began when McDavid was out of town, looking a little battered when he was seen getting intimate with a woman who was most definitely not his girlfriend Lauren Kyle.

When the person holding the camera said his name out loud, it caught McDavid's attention. He then turned around and had a sheepish look on his face.

Later, one fan dug deep to find information about the girl and she turned out to be Sammy Blais's sister.

Instead of the internet settling down after knowing the mysterious girl's identity, things took a bizarre turn as fans also found out about a past comment from Sammy Blais on her sister's Instagram post, which was a bit unusual.

The whole incident was in the limelight for quite some time but as the days went by things eventually settled down.

Connor McDavid met his girlfriend Lauren Kyle in 2016 after they reportedly bumped into each other at the wrong location for their friend's birthday.

Kyle is the owner of Kyle and Co. Design Studio and is currently working on the publication of her recipe, The Atelier Table.

She is an avid athletics fan as well and was a college volleyball player. She has been Connor's biggest supporter, showing up to all of his Edmonton home games to encourage him.

McDavid and Kyle were showcased in an Architectural Digest episode where they displayed their opulent Edmonton house. Connor McDavid practices hockey and stays up with his basketball on the indoor sports court at home.

Among other amazing features, he has a home gym that many of his colleagues have used, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. A sauna that Kyle considers to be a necessity, and more. Most of their house's internal design was done by Kyle.

The couple also has a dog, Leonard, who, according to Lauren, is the king of the house. Both of them share a love for dogs and even have a neon sign that reads, "If you don't like dogs, get out".
