According to a report from Billboard.com, the official autopsy has been revealed two months after the singer, Keith Flint, from The Prodigy was found dead in his UK home. The coroner rendered an open verdict regarding the reported suicide case.

The 49-year-old’s body was examined by the coroner who discovered he had died from hanging, while his body obtained amounts of cocaine, alcohol, and codeine. An open verdict reportedly means the death is suspicious, in other words, there hasn’t been any specific evidence supporting suicide as a cause of death.

However, speaking with the outlet, she claimed there wasn’t actually enough evidence to support the notion of suicide. It’s possible it even could’ve been an accident. Following the verdict, members of The Prodigy urged people to seek out help if they’re struggling with mental illness.

This comes after multiple reports of a “loneliness” epidemic, with the United Kingdom’s government even instituting a new branch of bureaucracy to deal specifically with the problem.

Scientists have discovered loneliness causes an increased supply of the stress hormone, cortisol, in the body, and leads to inflammation, inadvertently causing other mental and physical health problems. Some doctors have claimed being lonely can be as troublesome, physically and mentally, as drug addiction.

Other stars to commit suicide in recent years include Kate Spade, the creator of the fashion company, as well as Anthony Bourdain, who starred in CNN’s Parts Unknown.
