Lori may spend a lot of time on vacation, but she also puts in her time at the gym. The star is a regular at The Dogpound, where she executes intense weight and strength training workouts, doing everything from pull ups to squats. "I usually try to switch it up and do more cardio some days and more strength training on others," the Pretty Little Thing ambassador revealed during an interview. Her workouts usually start with a five minute warmup, followed by a few circuits of strength training, "either lower or upper body depending on what day it is and I always finish with ab work," she said.
A healthy diet fuels Lori for fitness. One way she keeps her eating on track is stocking her kitchen with nutritious eats. "I always keep some fruit around, I love strawberries and pomegranates. Lots of water. And some type of breakfast foods like eggs or oatmeal," she said.
Lori is one of the many stars who stays fit with the help of boxing. The star can often be spotted throwing punches with her gloves on at The Dogpound. This time of workout can yield tremendous results. "Our review provides preliminary review evidence suggesting that participation in HIIT can improve cognitive function and mental health in children and adolescents. Because of the small number of studies and large heterogeneity, more high-quality research is needed to confirm these findings," says one study.
Lori also does Pilates to keep her body long and lean. "We had the booty band on the entire time," she recently told Bustle during an interview, which was conducted post-Pilates class. "I just feel muscles working that I didn't even know I had, but that is what I'm really into right now."
Like so many stars, Lori makes sure to maintain an active lifestyle. In addition to walking and hiking, she is an experienced equestrian. "It's very freeing. My mind constantly is going at a million things 24/7; it's hard for me to shut my brain down. When I'm on a horse, literally that is all I'm thinking about: me in that moment and me and that horse. You have to be very in tune to the horse and what's going on, and picking up on them and the environment, and making sure there's not anything around that could maybe spook them or scare them," she told Bustle. "I did show jumping, so I'm paying attention to my distance from the jumps and the setup, and is [the horse] positioned right? So many things go into it, but it's a very freeing experience."
