The band released several albums and singles which included Happy Birthday, Pinky Blue, Bite, Song Sung Blue, Don’t Talk to Me About Love, Bring Me Closer, Love to Stay, and Change of Heart. After the band split up, Clare Grogan tried to pursue a solo career but things did not work out very well for her and soon she dropped the idea. She has also worked extensively in movies and shows such as The Play on One, Taggart, Red Dwarf, Father Ted, Saturday Superstore, EastEnders, Jilting Joe, The Afternoon Play, Sea of Souls, The Penalty King, The Beautiful Frame, Comedy Lab, Coming Up, Top of the Pops, Waterloo Road, Skins, The Wee Man, Coffee and Cake, An Ordinary Monday, Delirium, Shooting Stars, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and Hell’s Kitchen. As a member of the early 1980s new wave/post-punk band named Altered Images, her debut album, Happy Birthday, was released in September 1981. It consisted of songs such as Love and Kisses, Real Toys, Beckoning Strings, Happy Birthday, Leave Me Alone, and A Days Wait.
The album was ranked at number #26 in the UK Album Chart and its song, Happy Birthday, was ranked at number #2 in the UK in October the same year. The album was also certified ‘Silver’ by the BPI (British Recorded Music Industry) Limited.
