As it turns out, not all ladies of Real Housewives of New York are relieved Bethenny Frankel is off the show. This new information comes after Luann de Lesseps slammed the other by claiming exactly that.

One source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Bethenny Frankel and Luann have not spoken in quite some time so for Luann to talk about Bethenny like this is questionable. To say the whole cast is relieved Bethenny quit the show is not true. Lu and Bethenny didn’t get along. Bethenny had real friendships with Sonja, Dorinda and Tinsley so it is not fair for Luann to speak on behalf of the cast like that.’

But while Luann’s shade may not have been accurate, the same insider also dished that it was not exactly surprising.

Apparently, neither Bethenny nor anyone else on the show was blindsided by her comments.

‘Lu definitely knew what she was doing by making those comments. She knew they would get everyone’s attention and that is Lu, so nobody is really surprised she did that. So it sounds like this is more of a ‘speak for yourself’ situation but Luann may have wanted to stress that Bethenny’s departure was such a great thing that she exaggerated by saying that the entire cast was relieved she left.

The source also revealed that Luann and Bethenny actually respect one another as women and co-workers, deep down.

Sure enough, her diss may as well be perceived as a compliment since Luann pretty much suggested Bethenny was always stealing the spotlight from all the other RHONY stars.
